Many bonuses cap what can be withdrawn from bonus play, often as a multiple of the bonus. Where one exists it decides the best possible outcome of the offer, regardless of what the balance reaches along the way.

How a cap changes the arithmetic
It puts a ceiling on the return while leaving the obligation untouched. An offer asking twelve thousand of turnover with a cap of five times the bonus is asking full price for a limited outcome — and the limit binds exactly in the cases where the offer would otherwise have been worth taking.
Expressed plainly: the turnover is what you pay, and the cap is the most you can be paid. Any comparison that looks only at the first is comparing costs without looking at what is being bought.
Two forms it takes
- A multiple of the bonus. Common, and it scales with the offer — five times a $200 bonus is $1,000.
- A fixed amount. Less common and much harsher on large offers, because it does not scale at all. A $100 cap on a $3,000 bonus makes the size of the bonus almost irrelevant.
Where both a cap and a large headline appear in the same offer, the headline is decoration. The cap is the product.
How to find it
Search the terms for maximum win, max cashout or withdrawal limit. If none of those appear in the bonus terms, check the general terms as well: caps are frequently stated once, site-wide, rather than per promotion.
