Wagering requirements, worked through

The multiple, the base it applies to, and the two clauses that change both.

The multiple, and the base under it

Wagering, rollover and playthrough are three words for one thing: how many times the money must be staked. The figure is easy to find. The base — what it is a multiple of — is the part that is easy to read past, and it changes the price by a factor of two.

Bonus-only versus deposit-plus-bonus wagering $100 DEPOSIT · 100% BONUS · 40× WAGERING $4,000 multiple applies to the bonus $8,000 applies to deposit + bonus FORTY PASSES OF THE SAME MONEY — OR EIGHTY
The same multiple, two different offers. When the requirement applies to deposit and bonus together it is exactly twice the play, and that line sits in the terms rather than in the banner.

Three bases you will meet

  • Bonus only. The cheapest form. The multiple applies to the credited bonus.
  • Deposit and bonus. Exactly twice the play at a hundred-per-cent match, and the most common trap in this subject — 11 of the 43 offers here use it.
  • Deposit only. Rarer, and the one case where a bigger percentage is unambiguously better, because the requirement does not grow with the bonus.

What clearing one actually looks like

A $12,000 requirement at a $1 stake is twelve thousand spins. At three seconds a spin that is ten hours of continuous play. Dividing the turnover by a realistic stake and then by the days in the window is the fastest way to find out whether an offer is for you — and the answer is frequently no.

Alongside this page in the same section: game weighting, the clause that multiplies, reading bonus terms in two minutes, comparing two offers properly and when to decline the bonus. Each one asks a different question of the same register, priced the same way.

Further out: every offer, priced, the arithmetic and the casinos. Every figure on this site comes out of the same multiplication, which is why the numbers on one page never contradict the numbers on another.

This page belongs to the guides. The whole register with every offer priced is on the register page, and the front page carries the short list of crypto casino signup bonuses by what they cost to clear.
